I draw on walls. I choose the wall for my drawing based on the structure of the space I am invited to work in, whether it is a room, a house, a building, or a neighborhood. The windows, doors, and pipes that punctuate this space are all elements that contribute to the appropriation and new interpretation of this space.
A wall breaks the continuity of a space. A wall organizes a space and gives it a center with limits, separating it from the rest of the world. A wall can be a connection or a separation, an obstacle or protection, a support. Walls protect us but can also enclose us. They create two sides: an inside and an outside, a here and an elsewhere. Outside the wall is a public space; inside the wall's perimeter is a private space, and we constantly move from one to the other.
By reversing perspectives and opening up planes, my wall drawings create a link between the outside and the inside, exploring this in-between space, that is, what connects and what separates.

Je dessine sur les murs. Je choisis le mur de mon dessin en fonction de l’articulation du volume dans lequel je suis invitée à intervenir, qu’il soit à l’échelle d’une chambre, d’une maison, d’un immeuble ou d’un quartier. Les fenêtres, les portes, les tuyaux qui ponctuent cet espace sont autant d’éléments qui entrent dans l’appropriation et la nouvelle lecture donnée à cet espace.
Un mur, c’est rompre la continuité d’un espace. Un mur, c’est organiser l’espace et lui conférer un centre pourvu de limites, séparé du reste du monde. Le mur est tantôt une connexion, tantôt une séparation, il est tantôt un obstacle, tantôt une protection, un support. Les murs nous protègent mais peuvent aussi nous enfermer. Ils génèrent deux côtés : un dedans et un dehors, un ici et un ailleurs. En dehors du mur, il y a un espace public, à l’intérieur des limites du mur, il y a un espace privé, et nous passons constamment de l’un à l’autre.
En renversant les perspectives, en ouvrant des plans, mes dessins muraux créent un lien entre l’extérieur et l’intérieur, ils explorent cet entre-deux, c’est-à-dire ce qui relient et ce qui séparent.
